"Humanity is not the summit of life. It is a thread in the fabric of it — dependent on every other thread, responsible to all."

The Three Laws of Ecology

These are not rules invented by the Church. They are observations about how life actually works — and they carry profound moral weight.

I
Law of Diversity

The strength of any ecosystem depends on the diversity of species within it. Monocultures collapse. Variety is survival. A living world needs many voices, many forms, many kinds of life.

II
Law of Interdependence

All species within an ecosystem depend on each other. There is no life that stands alone. Pull one thread and the whole weave shifts. Kinship is not a philosophy — it is a biological fact.

III
Law of Finite Resources

There is a limit to what the Earth can sustain. Resources, carrying capacity, and ecological balance are real constraints — not inconveniences. A fair relationship with the living world begins here.

Kinship is not a belief.
It is a recognition.

The Church of Kinship teaches that all life — human, animal, plant, fungal, microbial — is bound together in a community of mutual dependence. This is not metaphor. It is ecology.

We educate people in the principles of the Kinship creed: that humanity has no right to dominate the living world, only a responsibility to participate in and protect it.

In an age of artificial intelligence, accelerating extinction, and growing disconnection from the natural world, this teaching is more urgent than ever. The Church offers a grounded, evidence-based spiritual response.

Biocentrism: all life has inherent value, not merely utility to humans
Ecological literacy: understanding the laws that govern living systems
Determined non-violence: lawful, peaceful action in defense of life
Fair systems: economic structures that mirror ecological limits
Radical inclusion: open to all who embrace the paradigm of kinship

A church without walls,
open to all who embrace kinship.

The Church of Kinship is a global organization teaching universal respect for the planet and all life within its ecosystems. We are guided by the science of ecology and by the moral conviction that human conduct should support — rather than undermine — the systems that make life possible.

Membership requires no particular diet, lifestyle, political identity, or prior belief. It requires only the recognition that life is connected, that connection carries responsibility, and that we can choose to live with greater humility.

Our places of worship are all places under the sun, the moon, and the stars.

Our Commitments

Determined Non-Violence

Lawful, peaceful, and practical action in defense of life and ecosystems. We reject cruelty and needless destruction in all forms.

Ecological Education

We teach through media, community engagement, social networks, conferences, and public education — wherever people are willing to listen.

Fair and Honest Systems

We support transparent, non-exploitative monetary systems that respect scarcity and resist manipulation — including Bitcoin as aligned with these principles.

Radical Inclusion

Independent of any anthropocentric religion, political party, or cultural background. The Church welcomes everyone who recognizes the living world as worthy of respect.
